NYCHOS IN PORZUNA: “PILLAR OF UNIFIED LOVE”

photo by Rivera&Donas, provided by Ink And Movement Last July, NYCHOS flew over to Spain in order to realize 4 murals on the walls of a giant silo in Porzuna. Located in the south of Madrid, Porzuna lies inmidst of Ciudad Real, a rural province with the silo being the highest building in sight. What seems like the middle of nowhere, feels amazingly welcoming. NYCHOS was invited by I Am Titanes, a project that promotes the social integration of people... Read more..

LOLO YS & NYCHOS in Providence, Rhode Island

This Summer, Lolo YS and Nychos made a trip out to Providence, Rhode Island to paint for a project entitled “Influx”. Curated by Inoperable Gallery and sponsored by the Avenue Concept. Providence, Rhode Island is a city whose contemporary public art scene is surprisingly new, given that it is home to the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design. In a city where street art giants like Shepard Fairey first studied and painted in the streets decades ago, it is only in the... Read more..

BANGKOK MELTDOWN: ARYZ, NYCHOS & ROA AT BUKRUK 2016

We still owe you a recap of our journey to Bangkok for BUKRUK II, so here it is. Thailand’s capital is vibrant and shrouded by a cloud of thin and warm air. Inspired by the culture, the traffic and the heat, european muralists Aryz, Nychos and Roa left behind their marks on the streets of Bangkok. In fact, their pieces are (literally) melting into the walls of the city. Thanks BUKRUK for having us. http://bukruk.com/festival/ and big thanks to Naxatras... Read more..

In the video below, Nychos explains the challenges and benefits of commission work and shares his thoughts on the process of developing... Read more..

NYCHOS / TRANSLUCENT MEDUSA / WEAART / AALBORG 2015

About three weeks ago, NYCHOS went on a short trip to Aalborg to paint a wall at WEAArt, a privately organized Urban Art festival, that entirely focuses on muralism. ”Translucent Medusa” is one of his latest murals and shows the x-ray of the Gorgon Medusa. It’s not that easy to focus on the incredible technique and dynamics the artist has been working with, because Nychos made sure that there’s no way to escape Medusa’s petrifying gaze. Be careful and don’t stare at her too long,... Read more..
