From June, 21st to June 27th POW! WOW! organized their latest mural festival in Long Beach, California – a festival, which has its roots in Hawaii but managed to expand to different cities all around the world. Nowadays, POW! Nychos recently painted a mural in the former SNCF train yard of the ”Gare du Nord” in Paris. ”Train Attack” is a homage to Graffiti as the artist translates his passion into a powerful visual language. Having the chance to legally spray-paint the entrance of an abandoned train yard is something that sounds unusual at the first moment, maybe still at the second. On May, 2nd OpenSpace Gallery in Paris is going to open its doors for Nychos: His solo-show ”Off The Wall” features around 20 art works on canvas and paper including motives, which are already known from his massive murals all around the globe. Dissecting a polar bear is a 4 day mission – at least that’s what NYCHOS proved last week in Vienna. As part of our 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY WEEKS and right before the world premiere of The Deepest Depths of the Burrow Nychos spray-painted a giant polar bear on a 24 meter wall.
