EXHIBITION OPENING: YOK & SHERYO ”DENGUE FEVER”

RABBIT EYE MOVEMENT is happy to announce: “DENGUE FEVER” by Yok and Sheryo “When you get Dengue Fever the body heats up, you feel dizzy, your vision begins to blur and you see them colours.” Dengue Fever is a new body of work from Yok and Sheryo plucked out of their travel journals and sketchbooks from countless adventures in South East Asia. The tropical heat has twisted their perspective resulting in these new works. Experimenting in a new island style... Read more..

A SUMMER IN SAN FRANCISCO: NYCHOS MURALS AND A MOVIE PREMIERE

Autumn slowly reaches Vienna and we’ve just noticed that we still owe you some pictures of our Californian Summer. As you might have already read on here, we spent some amazing days in Long Beach and L.A. during POW! WOW!. Instead of leaving California after the festival was over, we decided to move North – of course with a new mission in mind. San Francisco has always been treating us well, and since the city kind of evolved into Nychos’ second home town we couldn’t go there without... Read more..

”LORDS OF THE RED DRAGON” / LORDS CREW / MURAL HARBOR / LINZ

A couple of weeks ago, six members of the LORDS CREW painted a huge new piece at the Mural Harbor in Linz, one of Austria’s most innovative spots for Urban Art and muralism. ”Lords Of The Red Dragon” almost takes in 500 square meters – That’s a proper size to celebrate the crew member’s mutual love to Graffiti and to fix the bond between their different roots in California and Austria. For a long period of time, Linz had to live with the image of being... Read more..

NYCHOS ”SCREAMING FOR VENGEANCE” & TDDOTB MOVIE-PREMIERE / MURAL MONTREAL 2015

Nychos was invited to this year’s MURAL – an international urban art festival, which took place on the Saint-Laurent Boulevard in Montreal. From June 4th to June 14th, the street was converted into an open-air museum by 9 participating artists from all over the globe – and Nychos was one of them. His contribution ”Screaming for Vengeance” pays homage to the artist’s love for heavy metal as he’s referring to Doug Johnson’s cover art work for the eponymous Judas Priest album. Nychos transforms Johnson’s metal eagle into an animal, which is made of feathers,... Read more..

”TRAIN ATTACK” / NYCHOS / GROUND CONTROL / PARIS

Nychos recently painted a mural in the former SNCF train yard of the ”Gare du Nord” in Paris. ”Train Attack” is a homage to Graffiti as the artist translates his passion into a powerful visual language. Having the chance to legally spray-paint the entrance of an abandoned train yard is something that sounds unusual at the first moment, maybe still at the second. But there are people out there who make such things happen. Ground Control is an innovative project, that lives from Paris’ temporary grounds. It involves several groups of... Read more..

EXHIBITION: LOOK The Weird ”The Night Sky is Full of Rainbows”

LOOK The Weird – The Night Sky Is Full Of Rainbows In his third solo show at the RABBIT EYE MOVEMENT Art Space LOOK The Weird walks deeper into his mindset of Ultraland, a post apocalyptic intermediate world, where nature takes over the leftovers of a self-destructed human society. The upcoming exhibition ”The Night Sky Is Full Of Rainbows” is going to feature large-scale canvases and sharp highly detailed drawings – all populated by militarized corpses who fight against a growing nature...
