Value Added Tax VAT

Value Added Tax in the European Union

As of July 1 2021 e-commerce businesses selling to customers in the EU need to charge the VAT rate of the destination country, at the point of sale.

Example: If you are located in Germany, we need to charge you 19% VAT. If you are located in Hungary we need to add 27% VAT on the net price of our products.

The price on our website shows always the Austrian VAT (20%). As soon you are logged with your data and adress, the webshop will show the VAT rate that applies to you.

Value Added Tax outside of European Union

If you are ordering from the USA or Australia or any other country outside the EU you will not be charged VAT. But it is very likely that you will have to pay customs and your local VAT once the package hits your country.
